Our Story
From a Comic Panel to a Pocket-Sized Tool for Everyday Emotions
Today I Feel began with a single drawing—an illustrated emotion chart, inspired by the “How Do You Feel Today?” posters often found in doctors’ offices. Years ago, while sketching a comic, I created a version of that classic chart to help visualize different emotional states. I didn’t know it at the time, but that simple drawing would later become the spark behind something much bigger.
Like many people, I’ve spent years exploring different self-care tools. I’ve tried affirmation decks, calming kits, journaling prompts—always looking for ways to better understand and manage my own feelings. But something always felt like it was missing: a way to check in with myself throughout the day, not just once.
One day, it hit me—
What if there was a pocket-sized version of the “How Do I Feel?” chart?
Something you could carry, reflect with, and write on… something that allowed you to track your feelings in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Something visual, gentle, and honest.
And so, the Today I Feel Check-In Cards were born.
Built from Experience, Designed for Connection
Each card features a range of emotions illustrated on the front and includes a space on the back for reflecting on how you feel throughout the day. It’s not about fixing your feelings—it’s about noticing them, honoring them, and building the habit of checking in with yourself and with others.
A Simple Practice with a Powerful Impact
My goal with Today I Feel has always been to make emotions easier to talk about. To take something that often feels heavy or confusing and turn it into a daily practice that’s approachable and healing. Whether used in a classroom, in therapy, with family, or just during your morning coffee, these cards are here to help you feel, share, and connect—one moment at a time.
This is more than a product. It’s a reminder that your emotions matter. That your voice matters. And that taking time to check in is a powerful act of self and community care.
